Writing continues to be an important part of school in different subjects. If your child has difficulties with writing, fine motor skills or illegible handwriting, it can cause more and more problems, limiting or delaying learning. In our study we use specific tests in order to make a tailored treatment. There are some children with clumsy motor skills or who are lagging behind in several areas. Some children have DCD (Developmental Coordination Disorder) and can be helped in their development by the physiotherapist. Other indicators to go to a pediatric physiotherapist are neurological problems, asthma, orthopedic problems, and multiple congenital anomalies.
If you have questions or concerns, you can request a physical therapy examination in your child to determine the motor skills development and, if necessary, set up a treatment and training plan.
